So how does it actually work?
We start by understanding your situation, needs and preferences. We determine what you want to achieve and outline how it could be possible. We’ll collect documents and information from you.
We present which loan options are available based on your situation, needs and preferences. We answer any questions you may have and run through various scenarios with you to help you compare your different options.
We collect additional information and documents to meet specific requirements of the lender. We prepare a strong application to give you the best chance of a quick approval. Once everything is ready, we submit the loan application on your behalf.
All going well, your loan gets approved! Sometimes the lender will require further information to finalise their decision. The lender then issues loan contract documents to sign which we’ll support you with.
We liaise and coordinate with the relevant parties involved to ensure a smooth and timely settlement. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about getting ready for settlement. Congratulations and enjoy!
We continue to be available to answer any questions. Even if we don’t hear from you, we check in periodically to confirm the lender and loan structure still meets your needs. We also review your rate and fees against the market and negotiate on your behalf where necessary.

What is a mortgage broker?
An intermediary between the borrower and the lender who uses their knowledge, experience, relationship with lenders and software to source competitive terms for the borrower and facilitate a smooth process to settlement.
Do you charge fees?
We do not charge a fee for our service. We are paid a commission by the lender you choose which is fully disclosed to you. We operate under Best Interest Duty which is a statutory obligation for mortgage brokers to act in the best interests of consumers, and to prioritise consumers’ interest when providing credit assistance. It is also at the heart of everything we do, to ensure that our clients are happy because we rely on their reviews and referrals to sustain our business.
Do you provide ongoing support once the loan is settled?
We don’t forget you after your loan has settled. We are paid an ongoing trailing commission by the lender enabling us to continue answering any questions and ensuring your loan structure remains appropriate. We will also compare it with those on offer from other lenders and negotiate with your current lender for you, to ensure your terms remain competitive.
